Chu'Un Che' in the local Maya language means tree trunk. This duplex is the first residential structure at Maricasa

Chu'Un Che', a one bedroom rental unit (the right half of the building in the photo above), includes upstairs bedroom with a king size bed and large
bathroom with shower. Opening off the bedroom is a beautiful hardwood deck with comfy chairs and a great view of the Bay of Chetumal. From the
bedroom there are stairs to the roof where there is a palapa and hammocks with an even more spectacular view. Downstairs is a kitchen, half bath and
lovely living area. Off the downstairs living area is a shaded terrace with table and chairs for meals.
Accommodations include: Kitchen with basic cooking utensils, gas stove, and electric refrigerator. Towels and bedding are provided. Cooling is provided
by overhead ceiling fans . Water for showers and dishes is rainwater collected on the roof and filtered. Purified drinking and cooking water are also
provided. Wireless internet access is available occasionally if you bring your own laptop.

High Season is November 15th through May 15th. High Season Rates are: $500 USD per week and $1500 USD per 4 consecutive weeks. Low Season Rates are $400 USD per
week and $1200 USD per 4 consecutive weeks. Minimum stay is one week. Weeks start on Saturdays. Check in time is 3pm and check out time is noon. If you think you want to
stay for 4 weeks, get your reservation early to be able to block out consecutive weeks. Reservations are confirmed when you make a 50% deposit.

refund deposits due to canceled flights, changes in travel itineraries (whether they are your changes, an airline’s changes, or another property’s changes for which you have
reservations), changes in personal schedules, family emergencies, or for any reason other than Maricasa being unable to open for business. We highly recommend you obtain
travel insurance if you are traveling during hurricane season, or if you have uncertain scenarios related to your family or your work schedule. We will make changes to your
reservation dates if we are able to do that. There are no refunds for early departure. When you contact us for a reservation we will send you instructions on how to make the 50%
deposit. Do not book your travel reservations until we have confirmed receipt of your deposit thereby guaranteeing your reservation.
